I loveee reading. In fact, I generally find myself unable to walk out of a bookstore without purchasing something. My collection of books has been steadily growing (at a rate totally disproportional to how fast I can read them), but as always, I. Want. More.
City of Fallen Angels - Cassandra Clare Le Petit Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Shogun - James Clavell Crime and Punishment - Fyodor Dostoevsky A Glamorously Unglamorous Life - Julia Albain
if you have a Borders Books by you, you should definitely try to stop by there by the end of this week! i'm pretty sure they are all going out of business (or at least the ones by me) and are having a super sale to get rid of everything. :) you can also check online or get a phone number from the website to call your local borders.
p.s., thank you so much for the sweet comment! i wasn't sure if anyone ever read my music monday posts... but you have disconfirmed my hunch!
Ooh have you read Crime and Punishment or will it be the first time? That book... that damn book. I had to read it for Russian Lit in college and I only made it halfway through. So depressing! I loved Raskolnikov, though. Such a sexy brooding man.
Welcome to my quirky little project! I'm just an Arizona girl, freshly graduated from college in San Diego, trying to learn a thing or two about the "real world" as I apply to grad school. I love reading and bookshelves, television, Harry Potter, vintage, I Love Lucy, and traveling. I hope you'll enjoy following me through my blogging bildungsroman. Au revoir!
This blog reflects my mind: random-looking, but aspiring to be as intricate and elegant and strong as the ceiling of l'Opera Garnier de Paris, pictured above. Sometimes it reflects wishful thinking though, like with this layout.
The Little Prince takes no time at all to read. Crime and Punishment might take just slightly longer. Just slightly. : )
