Lust List Sunday!

I might (or not) switch my List List feature to another day of the week. I feel like having it so close to my Tuesday Tunes feature means I often neglect Lust List for the easier of the two. But, today, I felt I must must must share this new find because not only did I impulse order something as soon as I discovered this store, but I've bookmarked about 4 things for purchase after my next few paychecks. It's my new favorite, Lily Boutique!

You should know that it took me about 30 minutes to make this post, indicating that there were an absurd number of things to choose from on this site. Literally, about 90% of their dresses make my "oh, that's cute. I'd buy that" basic cut for clothing. And it's affordable, which I love! I just bought the Artists Interpretation Contrast Collar Dress and it's a bit shorter than I thought, but with some leggings or tights? Dreamy. I love it so much!

Lust List Monday: Pleats

I'm sure anyone that's been paying attention has noticed the sudden upsurge in the pleated trend, and I'm no exception. They're just so classy and they make your figure look awesome and curvy and you can belt them! What's not to like?!

Lust List Monday: These Boots Are Made For Walking

It might be summer, season of flip-flops and sandals, but that certainly doesn't mean my eternal flame for boots has dimmed at all. In fact, lately I've been craving a new pair much the same way sometimes we crave the Christmas spirit in the middle of July.


This Madden Girl Preppie Boot from DSW, because I have none so far in that lovely rust color, and I would love to change that.

For some reason, Kurt, on Glee has made me really want a pair of lace-up boots. This Seychelles Platinum Lace-Up Boot seems like the perfect girl-version of the knee-high lace-up combats everyone's favorite gay countertenor always dons.

I've been crazy desperate for some thigh-high boots since I first saw them being worn casually. Unfortunately, I am short, and thigh-highs have the tendency to make their wearers look like hookers. Thus, I think this modest-heeled Franco Sarto Over-the-Knee Boot would be perfectly suited to my non-hookery needs.

Lastly, certainly not least-ly, and only somewhat in jest, I really want a pair of white go-go boots because I am a weirdo like that. They'd look good with my skin, man. You can't deny that. Scuffing might be an issue though.

Lust List Monday: Harry Potter

You would be surprised at the amount of Harry Potter related material and merchandise that can be found on the internet. Not just clever t-shirts, glasses, and ties, but everything from handmade jewelry to decorative shoes to plushies. Etsy is a treasure trove of handmade Harry Potter stuff, which I not only peruse often, but have even bought a few things from. And, with the premiere so close at hand, I can't help but just want want want more of it.

As it's getting sunnier (mostly), I increasingly desire to wear my hair in a pony tail or braids and peruse hats on the internet. Also, did you guys see the crazy Royal Wedding hats?! Who wouldn't want to buy hats after that?! These are just a few I've encountered that I really like.

When I said I was possessed, consumed, etc. I wasn't kidding. I've recently started trying to figure out how I might be able to better budget my money to make room for these wonderful StarKid products. It involved a pretty dire amount of not eating, so... probably not happening. Probably.

Lust List Monday: LBD

I had a pretty awesome weekend. The trip, which I was a little nervous about turned out to be very laid back and really fun. One of the nights was a semi-formal cocktail for which I had to wear a dress. I bought a little black one (upon noticing the complete lack of cocktail dresses in my closet) and it inspired me to do a Lust List Monday! So many of these little black dresses I would love to have.

It's been a long time since I did a Lust List, but over this weekend I have found things to lust over. So, Lush Cosmetics aren't that new to me. A friend introduced me to them about a year ago, but the turn in weather has my hair and skin feeling out of whack, and me therefore dying to find a new and effective routine. Lust List Monday: Kate Spade Book Clutch

So, I've been having a terrible, horrible, no-good, very-bad couple of days because my seasonal cold has decided to come early this year. I can't stand being sick, mainly because my immune system is usually pretty good, and I can usually catch the one seasonal cold I always get before it even starts and get over it in a day or two. This one's been awful though, so I'm going to spend the day resting on the couch with I Love Lucy DVDs and hot tea. But, then as I was checking my email, I discovered these gems from Kate Spade and I felt like I had to share them. Yes, today's Lust List is one item, but trust me, it's worth it.


They have Great Expectations and others too!

I almost had an aneurysm at the sight of these. They're so cute and functional, and I would love to have one of those at my side for the night! Then I almost had another aneurysm when I looked at the price tag. Well, Lucy calls! Enjoy your days!
